Fis-17 ta’ April 1765, twieled Nikol Vella fl-Gharb Ghawdex iben Pawlu u Evangelista li kunjomha xebba kien Gauchi.  Fis-sena 1790 Nikol Vella lahaq Sacerdot fejn fis-sena 1803 gie mahtur Kappillan tax-Xewkija.
